This is one of my very favorite summer recipes…and right now, where I live, the berries are big, sweet, and fabulous!
No Strawberries? No worries.
Use any berry (raz, black, blue), fresh nectarines or peaches. But Make This Pie!

You don’t know this, but I just posted on BTV yesterday about being the recipient of some fresh blueberries, cherries, and peaches this past weekend. Also, I’ve been asked to provide a couple of sugar free desserts for our family July 4 gathering. This couldn’t have come at a better time for me! Thanks for re-posting and reminding me of a great recipe!
I have made this a couple of times and my husband eats it up within the first 24 hours. He is not a WLS patient. We are having a WLS gathering in July and I will definitely be making this for that! Yummy!
I am always looking forward to your cheesecake or pie recipes–and yes, this does look perfect for this time of year!
Linda, I made this recipe with fresh raspberries yesterday morning. I was having company for dinner and wanted a desert that was simple but tasty and…most importantly I could have a bite or two of.
HUGE hit! Thank you so very much. I love your site and look forward to new posts from you.
Whew! I hope this holds for 24 hours. Never occurred to me not to make it in advance (minus the topping strawberries.) Looks beautiful though.
I made this for our 3rd of July party last night and it was gone well before all of the other desserts..and there were a ton of desserts!! It is a beautiful pie and so yummy that I was glad it went fast so I didn’t eat it all!
I LOVE This. I’ve made it twice as strawberry and then again this weekend with blackberries my girls and I picked! Absolutely amazing!
